The Beers

Tsingtao Beers

Brewed in China since 1903

Tsingtao is only ever brewed in China using Laoshan Mountain spring water and the finest malt and hops.

Tsingtao beer is a truly authentic Chinese beer, only ever brewed in the sea port of Qingdao, in North Eastern China. This guarantees that every bottle contains the same pure ingredients and has the same great taste.

Tsingtao and Tsingtao 1903 Beer

Tsingtao

Internationally recognised as the finest beer in China Tsingtao is an incredibly smooth and easy to drink pilsner.

Our master brewers select only the finest malt and hops and blend rice, from the paddy fields of Western China, to mellow the bitter after taste making it one of the most ‘drinkable’ beers around.

1903

Brewed with Saaz hops from the Czech Republic, select barley, all natural yeast and pure spring water from the Laoshan Mountains.

Still made to the original German master recipe 1903 is rarer than it’s more common cousin and can only be found in selected venues across the UK. Look out for the distinctive gold and green bottle.

Laoshan Mountains
Laoshan mountain spring water is only ever used in the brewing process.

The Tsingtao Brewery was founded by The Anglo-German Brewery Co. Ltd in 1903 in the sea port of Qingdao in North Eastern China. Today it is exported and sold in over 90 different countries around the world, making it China’s most widely exported beer.

German settlers founded the Tsingtao brewery in 1903.

Unlike most other exported beers Tsingtao is not brewed under license so every bottle is brewed in China using the same pure ingredients that were used 100 years ago. This guarantees that wherever it’s being drunk it will always have the same great Tsingtao taste.
